One of the very important developments in the Web technologies is Web 2.0, and I plan to have this course focused on this direction, ofcourse, in relation to E-Commerce. This means both lectures and assessment items will be centred around the basic concepts, typical and non-typical features and applications of this technology.
The future of the Internet is Web 3.0 (the semantic web) ... to be discussed at the end of the course ... Hopefully, we have more workable examples of semantic webs by then!
